CroisiEurope inaugurated two new ships in Lyon and Paris this month. Both were redesigned, refitted and redecorated to be more spacious and comfortable, and have been upgraded from four anchors to five anchors.
The MS Van Gogh will sail on the Rhône and Saône rivers. The MS Renoir will sail on the Seine river from Paris to Honfleur. The new MS Elbe Princesse II flagship, the MS Elbe Princesse sister ship, features the same innovative paddlewheel technology, enabling it to navigate in shallow water. It will sail on the Elbe and Vltava (“Moldau” river in German) rivers between Berlin and Prague.
Additionally, the Douro river fleet will welcome its 6th new ship in 2019. Named Amalia Rodrigues for a popular Portuguese singer also known as the Queen of Fado, this ship plies the Douro which has been classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2001.
