Anantara Hotels, Resorts & Spas will make its debut in Ireland, with the rebranding of Dublin's The Marker Hotel.
The five-star hotel is located on Grand Canal Square in the heart of the city’s vibrant new business and cultural quarter, the Docklands area. It features 187 contemporary guestrooms and facilities including a spa, rooftop terrace, La Brasserie restaurant and eight meeting spaces.
“The Marker Hotel is already known as one of the city’s leading hotels and bringing the reputation and luxury touch points of Anantara to the property will further elevate the guest experience,” Dillip Rajakarier, CEO of Minor Hotels.
The property will be reflagged “in the coming months.” It will be Thai-based Anantara's third European property, joining Anantara Vilamoura Algarve Resort in Portugal and the recently launched Anantara Villa Padierna Palace in Marbella in Spain.
The brand is part of Minor Hotels Group, which bought NH Hotels Group last year, and is the operator of Anantara in Europe,
